Le premier jour de Mai 1429...
Le deuxième jour de Juin 1429, le dit Seigneur Roi avait appris les prouesses de Jeanne la Pucelle et les victoires arrivées par le Conseil et la faveur de Dieu, donna, etant dans la ville de Chinon, à la dite Jeanne pour son étendart et pour sa personne des armoiries du modèle qui suit et chargea le Duc d'Alençon et la dite Jeanne d'assiéger Jargeau.
